Happy Valentines Day! Or, as Star Trek fans--and most people in the 'Nacle--call it, Tuesday. (exception: the anonymous horn-doggers over on this thread)

And while we're on the subject of anonymous sex threads, and the Rosalynde cold shower of common sense comment on FMH, let's not forget this Rosalynde inspired FMH thread which prompted everyone to discuss ad nauseum the frequency of their marital bliss (oddly, last year Rosalynde was worried people weren't doing it enough). Which, in reality, is akin to talking about sex in a high school locker room... we can assume that ALL reported statistics are PRECISELY representative of reality, right?

And by the way, anonymous male commenters, if anything will turn on your wife, it will be knowledge that you went online soliciting sex advice from strangers, and then went back online to give a report of your wife's experience after the fact.

The depravity, oh, the depravity.

The Wonderdog refuses to discuss sexual matters lest others have unclean thoughts about how he obtained his nom de bolg.

Honestly, 1 minute skimming through that thread has killed the mood for my Valentine's evening.

People don't seem to realize that while "telling all" may make you feel sexy, it makes those around you feel slightly nauseous more often than not.

You here at the Snarkernacle are so lucky. I didn't realize there were people who had never in their lives had any diffuculty with sex. Your wives -- or yourselves, depending on which you are -- are also wonderfully blessed to (a) never have difficulties with their own bodies and (b) have husbands who are such bedroom experts that I'm sure even romance writers sigh with envy.

If Aretmis's post doesn't float your boat then fine. Walk away. There are people on that thread finding help and fellowship while you stand here like snide little Sunday Schoolers gleefully pointing out the faults of others and congratulating yourselves on your purity.

Sometimes I find your posts funny, even witty. However, mostly I find them to be the antitheseis of
charity and all those other things that we as followers of Christ are supposed to stand for.

"And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

Heather you bring a tear to my eye. Your insight into our bedroom prowess is inspiring, if not slightly creepy.

Ye Gads! I've been sucked into the Great and Spacious Blog!

Seriously, Ms. Harping, your self-righteous indignatious comments will not assuage us from having fun at the expense of others. In fact, it only encourages us to try harder.

Heather,

tolerance of other points of view is a vastly overrated virtue.

Heather:

If your point of view represents the grown up table, I'll stick around here with Dazzle and Snarker.

By the way, Middle School also taught me not to tell the people I'm allegedly ignoring they are being ignored.
