While Ben Huff is eagerly anticipating Nate's upstart antics in his usual ingratiating manner, Supergenius Steve sure isn't. And while he is at it, he also takes a shot at the Millennial Black Hole's newest permanent defacer.
Sure, sure, Steve does obliquely censure his own as well, just for good measure, but he is really referring to the non-BCC commentors who speculate wildly before being sent off elsewhere, so J.Stapley is sure not to take offense.
In the battle for #1, it is clear where Steve stands. T&S aspires to academic credentialism, and in doing so is helping suck the life out of the Bloggernacle, nay all of Mormonism, like so many leeches. In the mean time, BCC fills the Bloggernacle with the more appropriate types of soul-fortifying non-bone-marrow-sucking Mormon scholarship via Dialogue.
Well now, that certainly clears things up: T&S Mormon Studies = BAD, BCC Mormon Studies = GOOD. Yay! Or, maybe what Steve is saying is: T&S Desperate Attempts at Mormon Studies = BAD, BCC Clearly Established and Highly Accomplished Mormon Studies = GOOD. Huzzah!

You are a hypocrite and troll. You condemned us as cowards for posting anonymously, and there you are, a banned troll who has been told repeatedly not to comment here, sitting there commenting anonymously. You do exactly what you condemn others for.
Then you have the nerve to accuse us of being insensitive to others feelings? You are one of the most vicious, unfeeling jerks in the Bloggernacle. You attack people personally all the time, and you take great pleasure in it.
All of the accusations you throw at others are merely a projection of all the things you do and hate about yourself.

1. I am not DKL. But he is also an insensitive jerk.
2. You are right that it is cowardly to confront the Snarkette anonymously. But she has already caused me enough hurt and I don't want to expose myself to her.
3. Snarkette- as angry as it makes you to hear it, your snarkiness on this blog has really, really harmed some people. I have spoken with several such people personally. Maybe you think they should just grow thicker skins or whatever, but that does not excuse your daily pleasure in subjecting others to mockery and ridicule.
Yes- sometimes (perhaps often) people make fools of themselves in the bloggernacle. They probably realize it and don't need or want a mirror shining the spotlight back on their own lack of judgment. Perhaps you and some other sick people think this is actually doing them a service to show people how ugly they look. But I have to say that mean is mean and the type of mocking ridicule you subject people to on this blog is cruel and unchristlike.
I would expect to see this sort of unfeeling ridicule in the world generally, but it is shocking coming from one who, I assume, has made covenants to ease other people's burdens, to comfort those in need of comfort, and to stand as a witness of Christ at all times. Even though you may get laughs from like-minded people, you are really hurting others. Is that worth making other people laugh?
Bottom line: I think you must be a mean, horrible, unfeeling person. Who else would take such pleasure out of inflicting such pain on others? I am not usually so sharp in my remarks but I just can't believe how far you have taken this.

People who are on Snarkernacle get what they have earned on the Bloggernacle. Anyone who has ever had a complaint against the Snarkernacle who has taken it up with us in private has been accomodated, and we have a 100% take down rate. People like you who shovel just as much hateful vitriol as you acuse us of shoveling get what they deserve. For someone so concerned about us living our covenants, you sure aren't worried about living yours and setting a good example for us to follow. But, hey, every has to be nice to you and not you to them, right? You see, that is the problem with people like you, you expect special treatment and you hate it when you don't get it. You think what you say is somehow of greater worth, everone is equal on the Bloggernacle, but you and yours are more equal. And that is why the Snarkernacle is here, because of elitists like you who hate being called out and exposed for what you are and do.
Sorry, Anonymous, but your words are empty, Anyone who has ever had a problem with us and contacted us privately has been dealt with fairly 100% of the time. We have never, NEVER, rejected their request to remove or reword. But, people like you who take it upon themselves to self-righteously shoot their mouths off and act as awful as we allegedly are, we just ignore you. Just like you could ignore us, but you don't, because your vanity prevents it.
