EmilyS over at FMH says:
I like big boots and I cannot lie,
You other mothers can't deny
That when a girl walks around with stiletto heels
It make you feel like you got wheels
You get sprung from the kitchen
Tired of that turkey that was stuffed
Leather over the jeans I'm wearing
He's hooked cause he can't stop staring
Yeah, baby I'm a playa
With these boots I will wreck ya
Visiting Teachers tried to warn me
But these boots I got
solve a problem that is so thorny
Ooh, ooh, ooh, boots of leather
Wear them no matter the weather
Wear them, wear them, they ain't that average footwear
Shout out to Nancy:
Something tells me that Aimee's opinion of boots is slightly different than Emily's.

Somebody likes Sir Mixalot! Did you know that he lives in the town next to my parents? I bet you didn't?
Nice work on the lyrics!
Kristen where do your parents live? I lived for years in the town next to where Sir Mix-a-Lot lives, used to drive past his house all the time. So weird that a black rapper lives out in the woods of Auburn, in a huge suburban style house. But you knew it was his because of the multiple fancy cars parked outside.
Nice post, BTW, Snark.
Well done!
The real irony of this snark is that I've often been described as a girl "with the LA face and the Oakland booty." That's right. Baby got back.
You know, I heard a rumor once that Sir Mixalot is Mormon...And while Gladys is coo' and all...I think the Mix would be even better at firesides.
My parents live in Puyallup, of "Do the Puyallup" fame.
As much as I would like to claim Sir Mixalot as one of our own I'm afraid it's just a rumor.

Yo, keepin it real in the hood.
Did you know that Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains lives in Puyallup? He grew up there--a friend of mine knew him in jr high/high school. (They played in the school jazz band together, I think.)
I grew up in Kent (home to infamous thrash metallers Metal Church--they lived in my sister's apartment complex).
Maybe we should take this to email.
i love it! :)
oh yeah, those are my sexy boots.
I have finally seen a great pair of Wonder Woman boots!
Yeeeehaaaa!
Well, the thought of large old me in a semi-Wonder Woman-ish costume is probably enough to send the whole 'naccle screaming in terror, but hey, she was my hero as a little girl.
So there. Hee!
Some future Halloween, if you see the citizens of Centerville fleeing for their sanity, you'll know . . . .
(wait, can one snark ones' self like this? hee)
He did? I didn't know that. I actually grew up in Tacoma (University Place to be precise).
My cousin knew the guy from Queensryche! Oh and my friend used to hang out with Sir Mixalot.
Sorry Snarky, I'll stop.
Hey kirsten J. I live in Puyallup, whats their last name?
When my son complains that something isn't fair, I say "If you want fair, go to Puyallup".
The other day he had his preschool buddy over for a play date and busted it out on him! Too funny!
Snarker-brilliant!! You have mad skills yo.
