Monolithic Megafauna of the TTLB Ecosystem, Times & Seasons has been demoted to an "Isle of the Sea" on ldsblogs.org, the index page for the Mormon Archipelago. Formerly on par with BCC and M*, it is now grouped together with VivaNedFlanders, a Motley Vision and Issues in Mormon Doctrine, which is largely defunct.
Boy oh boy, there has got to be some really great juicy gossip going on behind the scenes on this one. Unfortunately, the SN is not plugged directly into that grapevine. Will someone in the know please e-mail me the dirt at snarkernacle@yahoo.ca? The person to unload the biggest wheelbarrow full of dirty laundry gets a MStP t-shirt via zazzle.

Poacher!
Ben S.
I'm sure this is hard on Nate's ego. :(
The Mormon Archipelago founding committee has come to the decision, over a period of months, that to have top-box status at ldsblogs.org a blog ought to display the MA logo above the fold. This seemed to us to be a fair reciprocation of the exposure that ldsblogs.org provides to the Bloggernacle. We understand that Times and Seasons are currently unwilling to do that.
The MA committee wants to make it clear that we are all friends with the Times and Seasons bloggers and still very much admire T&S. We just felt that it was an issue of fairness: if you have a priority position at ldsblogs.org you should use our logo.
Oh, man, that is sooooo boring. Come on, there wasn't a big fight between Steve and Nate over who had the best blog post:billable hours ratio? Julie from Austin didn't tell one of you guys off in private?
Well, Kaimi posted a pretty snarky response on Ben's M* thread. Sounds like things are heating up.
Heating up like chocolate heats up.
This is about as big a news as Tori Spelling's second marriage.
TORI SPELLING GOT MARRIED AGAIN!?!?!?! NO WAY!
aha!! Snarker is Tori's Ex . . .
STELLA!!! errrm...I mean...TORI!!!
This brings up the question: is the Arch there to promote the Arch first and foremost or does it tell the truth. Seems like it doesn't tell the truth if that won't promote the Arch. They will be, err, not so connected to the truth if it is "fair" to them.
What is truth?
Oh man. If it takes this long for T&S to move a logo up a few pixels, how long it will take them to come up with a privacy policy that will prevent T&S permabloggers from selling poster's private info for filthy lucre?
I will buy the identity of the Snarker for filthy lucre! Um, I mean, a buck-fifty. Unfortunately, the Snarker doesn't seem to comment around very often, though someone supposedly revealed his IP address on the M* thread.
Where was our Random privacy advocate then?
A Random John--
How much filthy lucre are we talking about here? If the price is right, the answer to your question might be 'never.'

There is privacy in the Bloggernacle? Like hell!!
Most of the Bloggernacle rejects registration as a condition for posting but they do require an e-mail address and the capture and examine ip addresses ruthlessly (and yes they trade them amongst themselves).
I respect George Bush's NSA wiretapping 1000 percent more than I trust the Mormons here on the Bloggernacle.
he actually has ethics.
Mr. Snarkernacle,
Please open a topic on anonymity in the Bloggernacle. I think that it is a subject worthy of debate and discussion.
You are one of the few that truly allows anonymous posting so you can at least invite all interests to the discussion.
Actually the M* discussion on privacy was quite good. Especially if you enjoy discussions with a brick wall. But other than that it had detailed instructions on how to post anonymously and revealed some of the inner workings of bloggernacly spies. If you have anything to say that you wouldn't want to the STMC to be able to associate you with you should probably take steps to protect yourself because at least some of the big blogs aren't going to protect you.
Also, and the Snaker(s) can correct me here, I don't think the presence of an "Anonymous" option here means that your IP address which can uniquely identify you doesn't get logged.
I'll pay two dollars to keep the Snark private.
That's all the filthy lucre I've got. More in clean lucre, mind you ...
Snark,
I think you already have a thread on anonimity right here. Sorry about that... My joke has taken a serious turn I guess.
