I don't know which is worse, that Aaron, a celebrated BCC perma takes pleasure in presenting the worst as his best, or the way dedicated BCC fans love this kind of cynicism and praise his nihilism. What I do know is this kind of post speaks volumes about BCC in specific and the makeup of the Bloggernacle in general.

You sound even grumpier than usual. Are you constipated? Maybe you need to get more fiber in your diet. Also, when was the last time you sat on a whoopee cushion?
Watching BCC slide into the cesspool has put me into a bad mood. They used to be better then T&S. Now its as bad as T&S and FMH. What happened to the attempts at scholarship? What happened to the people from Dialogue? Its like a return to the bad old dark days.

Sorry Tracy, this isn't a break from the dour and ascerbic for some lightheartedness. BCC has been craptastic for weeks now. They thumb their noses at T&S and FMH and then go and do the same exact thing. If you are calling hooey, you are going to have to scrape it off your shoes first.

My Apologies for outing you, Prudence. But, all is fair in snarkerdom, as you are well aware. And, I would hasten to point out that parody is fair use, which you are also very well aware of.
I'd say the difference between Lisa's Poop Chronicles and the elder's antics is that w/toddlers you sort of have to deal with poo, and sharing trauma can help you preclude insanity. The elders were trying to induce trauma.
I've got to give them props for creativity, though! The elders in my district never came up with anything better than playing "ketchup target shooting" with their shoes, condiment packets, and the pack of various sisters' dresses. We all looked like we'd been in a mass shooting.
